Are you looking for a great family trip in 2008? One that may be passable, and if not offer domestic travel prices? This list is from areas throughout the country so that all can benefit. Check these out:

New York (NY) - Catch a Broadway show like "The Lion King, go to Central Park and put your children, a couple of delicious ethnic food. Grand Canyon (AZ) - Complete a series of activities to a junior ranger to learn why water is so important (the canyon and you) and take a hike along one of the hundreds of trails (make sure to follow the guide).
Yellowstone National Park - There are a variety of recreational activities here in Yellowstone, such as hiking, horseback riding,Boating, camping, with a Yellowstone Institute class, and much more. Yellowstone is home to hundreds of wild animals and leaves us all in one great burst of nature in one place.
Pennsylvania Dutch Country (PA) think - many, comes as the Dutchman Amish country in mind and there are opportunities to learn and explore about them. However, there are a lot of other fun and activities for families to do, including: Cherry Crestfarm (5-acre maze, animal farm, pumpkin slingshot, guided tour wagon, etc.);) Longwood Gardens (over 1050 acres of gardens, woods and meadows; Strasburg Rail Road (45 minutes) trip, and more - too many to list.
Mount Rushmore National Park (SD) - Take a picture of the history for your children. In addition to the presidential elections before the Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial is carved, as we will talk and the largest in the world when completed. Other wonderful family fun on the trip or museum to be found under a jeep safari through the meadows.You can even some Buffalo Roam. Checkout Badlands National Park, while you and see you there, two of the longest caves in the United States, Wind Cave and Jewel Cave.
San Diego (CA) - This beautiful city has it all, white beaches, attractions for families, good shopping and excellent cuisine. Do not hit the beaches in San Diego, there are 70 miles of them along the coast. San Diego is the home of Balboa Park, aka "the Smithsonian of the West, which is at home in San Diego Zoo, 15 museums and 8 gardens.Other attractions include Legoland California and SeaWorld.
Boston (MA) - The Boston Children's Museum is one of the largest and most action packed in the country. There are over 20 other museums in Boston, including the Boston Tea Party Ship & Museum, the New England Pirate Museum and the Harvard University Art Museum. Besides the cultural aspect of the city, you can check the Boston Harbor Islands, located on the Blueman show and visit my favorite, Quincy's Market forsome great entertainment, dining and shopping.
