San Diego Vacation Rentals

Miles below bustling Los Angeles and just north of Tijuana, you'll find one of California's most mild-mannered and effortlessly enchanting vacation hotspots. San Diego doesn't have to work too hard to attract visitors from all over the world, and a quick look at the facts will tell you why.

The San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park and Legoland are magnets for fun-loving families, and stunning ocean and mountain scenery provide the backdrop to any number of outdoor adventure pursuits. Follow the crowds to the best beaches or stray off the beaten path for a mountain biking adventure. Then, as the moon begins to rise, take a stroll through downtown for a taste of fine cuisine and some great people watching.

As a haven for travelers, California offers all sorts of lodging options. This might make it seem like a daunting task to find a place to stay that fits your needs in such a way as to justify spending your hard-earned dollars. But, if you check into renting a vacation home, you might be surprised at how reasonable and truly accommodating a rental property can be. It might take a little effort to uncover it, but as you put your feet up on the patio of your cozy, fully-equipped beach house, you'll surely feel that it was all worth it.

Picture a two-story ocean side home in Mission Bay with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. A 30 second walk will have you splashing in the surf, and the grill pit right next to the house is perfect for hosting a family gathering in your temporary backyard. And though you have a game room at your disposal and can see the Sea World fireworks from your deck, venturing out to all the tourist attractions you've been reading about won't be a bit of trouble thanks to your enviable location. Boardwalk bike riding, coffee in bed, and naps in the hammock will characterize this trip, all because you took the time to choose a vacation home you knew your family would love.

If you're into keeping fit during this holiday, perhaps an adobe casita overlooking La Jolla would be a good choice. Easy access to hiking, biking, and kayak adventures will keep everyone's adrenaline going, and for those slower-paced afternoons, look down the street to the tennis courts and swimming pool for some impromptu exercise opportunities. Panoramic views will tempt you to stay close to your home away from home, but don't forget that a string of galleries, shops and restaurants exist just five minutes down the road. Perched in the hills, you may feel like you're a million miles away, but a host of conveniences are quietly awaiting your next whim.

A major concern for many travelers has to do with leaving their pets behind while they are off seeing the world. If you just don't have the heart to leave the furriest members of your family in a kennel or in the care of neighbors, then now is the time to relax. San Diego is quite dog-friendly, and many vacation rental homes are sympathetic to the traveling aspirations of your well-behaved four-legged companions. Check it out first, but don't be surprised if the welcome mat is rolled out for you and your puppy too as you arrive at the doorstep of your condo or cottage.

It would take years to experience all that San Diego has to offer, so if you only have a few days, then it's time to prioritize. Make a list of your top choices, and then pick out a place to stay that will complement these sure-to-be-satisfying activities. Following this formula will lead you towards the vacation you've been dreaming about, so the sooner you get started, the sooner you'll feel the soft breezes and never-overwhelming pace that characterize sunny San Diego.

Orlando Vacation - The Hottest Top Ten Things to Do

There are two limiting factors on what to do in Orlando-time and money: chances are pretty good you won't have enough of either.

Of the top ten amusement parks in the country only seven of them are in Orlando. Here's my list of the top ten things to do on your Orlando Fun Vacation. I dare you to try all ten on one trip. Walt Disney World by itself is 47 square miles of fun and adventure.

1. DISNEY-MAGIC KINGDOM. It is the most popular theme park in the world with nearly 15 million visitors. Rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean", "Splash Mountain", and "Space Mountain" are at the top of the all time best list. "It's a Small World After All" leaves you singing the song for a week. All seven themed parks are difficult to do in a day.

2. DISNEY -MGM STUDIOS Here we have some of the best rides including the Twilight Zone "Tower of Terror". An absolutely fascinating look at how the movies are made plus lots of fun too. Can be a one day adventure.

3. DISNEY-ANIMAL KINGDOM "Expedition Everest" is the highlight of the rides in this one day or less trip thru the Kingdom of Animals featuring "Festival of the Lion King"-a must see.

4. SEA WORLD Beautiful gardens are the backdrop for this educational and fun experience. Definitely worth a visit yet very different from the other Orlando attractions.
One ride worth the trip is "Kraken" a floorless roller coaster.

5. EPCOT CENTER Definitely a two day journey but in my opinion not for everyone. It is more of an educational experience and a little on the heavy side compared to the lightness of the other theme parks. It is very well done and very educational but again not everyone's cup of tea.

6. BUSCH GARDENS Oh okay it is not in Orlando it's in Tampa. It is one of the biggest zoos in the world and has some great thrill rides like "Kumba" and "Python". Oh and the beer-did someone mention free beer!! Well worth the trip.

7. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS A working TV and motion picture studio with some great rides thrown in. Check out" Men in Black Alien Attack" and "Revenge of The Mummy" rides that will get your heart rate up in a hurry. There is a stiff competition between WDW and Universal for your dollar. The consumer is the winner as attractions at both places get better all the time.

8. ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE This slightly younger brother to Universal studios is made up of six islands that feature some of the best maybe the best thrill rides in Orlando. It is mostly for the 54" and up crowd (the height restriction). "The amazing Adventures of Spider-Man", "Dueling Dragons", and "The Incredible Hulk" coaster are some of the best rides in the world.

9. DISNEY WATER PARKS You guessed it-a water theme park that is occasionally closed so check ahead. If water is your game-this is it!!

10. CIRQUE DE SOLEIL. I have seen at least a half a dozen of these shows in three different cities in the last 6-7 years or so and watched them on numerous TV specials. I am still amazed at the athleticism of the performers. But that is only the obvious. The choreography, set design, music, and the creativity of everything they do. Unbelievable. Not a circus in the American sense because there are no animals but spectacular nonetheless and not to be missed.

The only negative is it can be pricey. For a family of four it will set you back $180-300.
If you've never seen Cirque du Soleil, this may be the best opportunity for the family.

Get The Orlando Vacation Home Of Your Dreams

Florida, the sunshine state, is known for a good reason; the sun never disappoints you at any given time of the year and that is the main reason why many migrate to this state in the cold winter months. But, if you want to know how to get the best deal of staying in Orlando during the winter while not having to spend a fortune in the process, the answer is simple, get an Orlando vacation home.

Why Choose Orlando?

Florida holds many attractions out of which one of it's biggest is the Walt Disney World situated in Orlando. This attraction alone brings millions of people from around the world year round to vacation in the magic land of Walt Disney World due to which any property in Orlando is considered an absolute fabulous investment.

Besides Walt Disney, there are many other attractions, which involve the adults as well (not that adults don't enjoy the world of Walt Disney) such as golf, Sea World of Florida, Parks and Museums. Acquiring an Orlando vacation home is a wise investment that will reward you year round.

You can use your Orlando vacation home when you desire in the winter months and the rest of the year you can hire it and, thus, have your property pay you for vacationing as well as for its own maintenance and taxes.

Renting An Orlando Vacation Home

If you don't choose to invest in purchasing a vacation home you can always rent one whenever you desire. There are two ways to rent an Orlando vacations home and they are: through time-sharing or just for the time you desire. If you choose to hire a vacation home through time-sharing again, you will have to make an initial investment and then work out the dates when you want to spend time in your Orlando vacation home with the person with whom you just brought the home.

However, if you want to hire a vacation home only when you desire then you will need to approach a travel agent who will help you find the best available bargain for you and your budget.

Helpful Tip

If you are planning to spend more than couple of months every year in Orlando, the best way to is to invest in either a time-sharing vacation home or purchase a property that you can hire when not in use and if you are not sure when or how long you are going to spend each year in Orlando then you may want to consider hiring for the limited period you visit only, in order to save yourself money and time.

Real Estate in Orlando, Florida The Time is Now!

Florida offers the international real estate investor huge opportunities to buy prime real estate where capital gains will be easier and rental returns almost guaranteed. Every investor knows that profits are made on the purcase price. Today's housing market in Orlando, Florida presents some stunning properties well below market values. The City of Orlando offers investors the security of a rental market that seems to be immune to the rise and falls of the housing markets. Orlando has several types of tenants wishing to pay for accommodation. Ranging from US citizens relocating to Florida, lower paid migrant workers to overseas holiday makers looking to spend some time at Disney and the theme parks.

Property in the state of Florida itself is always in constant demand. The climate is beautiful and millions flock to the area each year during all major holidays and summer vacations. Many northerners also make their way down to second homes in Florida to spend their winters. The climate is always terrific despite the occasional rain shower.

The city of Orlando has been a major tourist attraction in the United States for many years. Featuring the major attractions of the Walt Disney World Resort, Sea World, Kennedy Space Center, Universal Orlando resort, Universal Studios, and Disney-MGM studios the city has a large number of tourists each year.

The downtown area of Orlando has also been under redevelopment in recent years to help accommodate the economic growth of the city as well as the 52 million tourists the city sees each year. As the second largest city in the country for number of hotel rooms, the city has a large majority of its income come from tourism. The city also vies with Chicago and Las Vegas for the largest number of convention attendees. The Orange County Convention Center was expanded to over two million square feet of exhibition space in 2004 making it the second largest convention complex in the country.

Property outside of Orlando is very popular as the city has an unemployment rate of only 2.8%. The area is growing rapidly and causing housing prices to skyrocket, which is excellent for those investors interested in buying and selling homes or rental properties. Despite the high cost in housing, there are numerous rental opportunities available as young adults and low-income individuals are looking to rent despite the increase in rental properties as well. The area tourism accounts for a large majority of the jobs and many of these individuals are employed with the major tourism attractions. Property in Orlando for rentals is always popular and in demand. There is ample room for property investors to profit from rentals.

A Fall Caribbean Cruise - Is It For You?

The idea of sailing off into the Caribbean sunset whilst the trees are turning and the winds are bellowing may not on first reflection seem the best idea in the world. However, think again my Caribbean cruising friends and don't be fooled by your first impressions.

You may not realize that the price of a cruise can drop by several hundred dollars quite literally over night, and if you think the temperatures change that quickly, you're wrong. In fact the average temperature throughout the Caribbean only drops by around 5 degrees between the summer and winter, and in many areas, for example the Cayman Islands it is in fact the summer months that bear the most rain!

A fall cruise may therefore be lighter on the pocket than a summer one, but what about in comparison to other options? When considering the price of a Caribbean cruise you must consider what is included in it and what you might get for your money else where. This fall, a 7 day Caribbean cruise could be found for under $500. In comparison, Disney world costs $71 for a one day entrance pass and Sea World costs $40; A ticket to see the Yankees play could set you back up to $400 and a Broadway show anything between $20 and $300 - 7 days for $500 is looking pretty good, right?

So, the weather is good, the prices are better, what else could be beneficial about a fall cruise? A cruise is meant to be relaxing - surely then a cruise when kids are in school has got to be a good choice. Finally, because it's low season the cruise liners aren't packed; you will have space.

The Caribbean is beautiful year round, but why not make the most of the opportunity you have; reconsider the fall as the time to take your next cruise.

Orlando Florida Celebrates the 2008 Christmas Season With Holiday Fun

Florida Theme Parks always have a magical quality about them, but during the holiday season, the magic combines with holiday cheer, creating a wonderland of fun. There are special events at Disney World, Universal Resort, Sea World & Cypress Gardens, so every family can find the type of celebration that is right for them. One thing is certain though - no matter where you celebrate in Orlando you'll be treated to holiday festivities that rival any other city in America.

Walt Disney World presents a holiday attraction of epic proportions, with each of the four individual parks offering something special for the holiday season. At the Magic Kingdom, Mickey teams up with Santa to present Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Disney Jurassic Park is must to visit. At the moment you enter the gates of Jurassic Park you will be welcomed by the music. The atmosphere of the whole park is created as if the real habitat of Dinosaur. And these things are possible only because of Steven Spielberg who immortalizes his blockbuster hit film "Jurassic Park" thorough this Islands of Adventure.

Jurassic Park comprises many attractions and entertainment. They are: Jurassic Park River Adventure, Camp Jurassic, Jurassic Park Discovery Center, Pteranodon Flyers, etc.

Jurassic Park River Adventure: Dinosaurs can be seen here in their natural habitats in this showcase attraction. You can experience the adventure of boats and flume ride based on the popular film.

Camp Jurassic: Pteranodon Flyer is the center of all attractions here. It is a real chance to explore amber mines, climb dinosaur nets etc.

"The Burger Digs" is on the top floor and the DinoStore is a gift shop. Apart from these, you can also have some interactive experiences like the movement of a dinosaur and the noises which are made by them.

The eating venue like Pizza Predattoria serves Pizza, Italian sausage and meatball sandwiches. Besides this, the Watering Hole, Thunder Falls Terrace, etc are also some of the venues where you can have your desired foods.
After satisfying your hunger to eat, you can also fulfill your shopping desires in the shoes like Dinostore, Jurassic Outfitters, etc.

Florida Car Rental Guide

The Sunshine State better known as Florida is the 4th largest state in the USA and is home to some of the most beautiful and scenic roads in all of America. The total area of the state of Florida is 58,560 square miles so I recommend a convertible or a car with great air conditioning because it can get hot during those road trips!

Since Florida is so spread out with an almost unlimited number of destinations to see, a car rental is the most viable option for transportation in the "Sunshine State". The beaches are one of the most popular attractions, along with some of the world's best known theme parks, including Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld.

Depending on the time of year I would recommend booking in advance due to events such as Spring Break, or the Florida Key festivals which can be booked solid a year in advance. If you're coming into a larger city such as Miami then you have less to worry about as the amount of rental cars rarely gets fully booked, but it is still best to check in advance.

One drive you cannot miss is the Apalachicola National Forest which is home to amazing forests, swamps and the creatures that dwell in them. Once you make the drive out here you can park the car and enjoy some of the top hiking trails within the park. I have personally walked two of the trails in here, the first being the 6 mile Trail of Lakes which takes you on a journey of you guessed it, many lakes. The second trail called the Leon Sinks Geological Area Trail is a unique hike not to be missed offering some very amazing sights!

I hope you enjoy your driving experience in Florida as I did mine journey through this amazing state. Plan your trip ahead to make sure you get to see as many destinations as possible, and I wish you a safe journey.

Great Family Destinations in the US

Looking for a great family trip in 2008? One that may be drivable and if not offers domestic travel rates? This list is from areas all over the country so everyone can benefit. Check these out:

New York City (NY) - Catch a Broadway show like the Lion King, go to Central Park and expose your kids to some delicious ethnic food. You can also hang out at a kid friendly hotel like Doubletree Guest Suites, Hilton Times Square or Four Seasons Hotel New York which offers tons of family amenities including extra large rooms (Doubletree), mega-entertainment complex (Hilton) and child-proofing (Four Seasons).
Grand Canyon (AZ) - Complete a series of activities to become a Junior Ranger, learn about why water is so important to the Canyon (and to you to) and take a hike along one of the hundreds of trails (make sure you follow the guides).
Yellowstone National Park - There are a myriad of fun activities here at Yellowstone including hiking, horseback riding, boating, camping, taking a Yellowstone Institute class and more. Yellowstone is home to hundreds of wildlife and lets us all get a big burst of nature in one place.
Pennsylvania Dutch Country (PA) - Many think of the Amish when the Dutch Country comes to mind and there are ways to learn and explore about them. However there are a bunch of other fun and family friendly activities to do including: Cherry Crestfarm (5-acre maze, animal farm, pumpkin slinger, guided wagon tour, etc.); Longwood Gardens (over 1050 acres of gardens, woodlands and meadows); Strasburg Rail Road (45 minute ride); and more - too many to list.
Mount Rushmore National Park (SD) - Take a picture of history for your children. In addition to the presidential front of Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial is being carved as we speak and will be the largest in the world when completed. Other wonderful family fun is to be found at the Journey Museum or taking a jeep safari through the grasslands. You may even see some buffalo roam. Checkout Badlands National Parks while you're there and explore two of the U.S.'s longest caves, Wind Cave and Jewel Cave.
San Diego (CA) - This beautiful city offers it all; white beaches, family attractions, great shopping and excellent food. The beaches in San Diego can not be beat, there are 70 miles of them along the coast. San Diego is home to Balboa Park, aka The Smithsonian of the West which is home to San Diego Zoo, 15 museums and 8 gardens. Other attractions include Legoland California and SeaWorld.
Boston (MA) - The Boston Children's Museum is one of the largest and most action packed in the country. There are over 20 other museums in Boston including the Boston Tea Party Ship & Museum, The New England Pirate Museum and the Harvard University Art Museum. In addition to the cultural aspect of the city you can check out the Boston Harbor Islands, take in the Blueman Show and visit my favorite, Quincy's Market for some great entertainment, food and shopping.

So whether you live on the East or West Coast or somewhere in the middle, you can find a fun and affordable family vacation close to home. What's in your backyard?

A Miserable Future of the United States

What is the future of a country where some politician plans to takeover the oil industry? Last month, one California Democrat stated that many Democrats were thinking that the oil industry should be nationalized. Many call it as a socializing act, but will it really help the country or it is an alarm for all the trouble that US may face in subsequent years?

According to Rep. Maxine Waters, "This liberal will be all about socializing... would be about... basically taking over and the government running all of your companies." He conveyed this to oil executives on May 22 at the time of congressional hearing.

No matter what we call it - nationalizing or socializing, but the consequences are same. No country could flourish after nationalizing its oil operations till date. If we did not learn anything from other countries, Venezuela, Bolivia, Iran, and Mexico are perfect examples to follow. All these countries nationalized their oil operations long back and suffered a lot. Their economy was so affected due to this decision that they could never achieve a good economic status after it. They do not expect much from their economy even today as government continues to control the oil operations till now.

It is not just Sen. Hillary Clinton who seeks to threaten the oil industry, another Democrat - Kanjorski also thinks himself as quite smart when it comes to economy matters. He strongly believes that by socializing the oil operation will inspire the government to keep the oil prices low. No matter what they think of US economy, with such a decision, which follows the same path of disaster that many other countries once followed, the future of our country seems bleak now.

This decision seems to be much about profit of political projects rather than help of the country.

Property in Florida For Under 80,000 Pounds

To secure yourself a Florida property for £80,000, you'll need a cool head and the patience of a saint. Many Florida property agents are currently displaying surprisingly attractive properties at super-low prices that positively scream value for money to those of us getting excited about the two-for-one exchange rate.

Unfortunately, there are a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, in many cases, the agents in question have absolutely no intention of selling you a Florida property for as little as £80,000; they merely wish to introduce themselves to you before heading you in the direction of more lucrative Florida property options. The second is that the two-for-one exchange rate is currently slipping away; at the time of writing, the greenback is back with a vengeance, trading at around 1.83 against sterling. There's still a long way to go before the dollar gets back to pre-credit-crunch levels, but it's definitely heading in the wrong direction for buyers.

But just look at what comes with a Florida property: the delights of year-round sunshine; vast expanses of beautiful coastline; the world's greatest theme and leisure parks (Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Epcot, to name but a few). And we haven't even started on the golf courses.

But is the tide for Florida property now turning? Have Florida property prices now fallen low enough for us to consider taking the plunge? That's difficult to gauge in a market that's going through such unusually dramatic turmoil. The trouble is, while the bottom has famously fallen out of the market, the top remains in denial, pedalling furiously in mid-air like Wile E. Coyote. Whether or not the coyote will miraculously run right across the chasm this time and continue on its merry way, only time will tell, but Florida property at a less rarefied level has certainly taken a huge nosedive.

Lee Weaver of The British Homes Group, which specialises in providing a one-stop shop service for Brits searching for Florida property, says: "In all our 30 years helping UK buyers find Florida property, the market has never been so full of bargains. For example, Countrywide Financial Corporation, the US's number one home lender, is currently marketing over 1,600 Florida homes with some houses listed at 40 per cent less than their market value two years ago."

With this in mind, Homes Overseas has done some sleuthing and come up with Florida property on the market for less than the price of a new Jaguar.

Orlando, in central Florida, is far and away the most important destination for British buyers, who are lured by its unbeatable combination of family fun, top-quality golf courses and historically reliable rental returns. It is, in fact, the world's biggest tourist destination, with more than 50 million visitors a year; yet surprisingly has been hit harder than most areas in Florida by the credit crunch. For example, a studio apartment is currently offered by Feltrim at Horizons at the Grenelefe golf resort. This attractive and substantial development boasts three golf courses (one of them Arnold Palmer-designed), as well as a huge water park, a marina, spa, sports and fitness facilities, bars, shops and restaurants. The apartment is newly-refurbished and is now on the market for just $80,000 (£43,500).

In Canary Island Circle, just 14 kilometres from Disney, Feltrim is offering a spacious family home with four bedrooms (yes, four) and two bathrooms, a heated and screened swimming pool and its own garden. The property sits within a gated community that boasts an 18-hole golf course and fishing lakes. This Florida property is currently on the market for just $125,000 (£68,000).

However, before you pack your bags (and your chequebook), it should be remembered that, when the price of a property seems too good to be true, it usually is. Residential appraiser Al Franks sounds this note of caution for overseas buyers: "In some places I see signs of stability, and in other places I don't. A home may look good on paper, but then you drive by and a lot of the neighbouring homes have grass up to your knees."

There are also pitfalls for the unsuspecting overseas buyer, such as a two-tier tax system, which is not favourable for non-residents; and the fact that, if you're seeking a Florida property as a holiday rental, you must ensure it sits within an authorised short-term rental zone.

Golf development property is usually a good bet for those with rental returns and long-term growth on their minds, and another Orlando apartment from Feltrim, at the Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club, could prove a winner with singles and couples, as the development boasts one of the top-ranked courses in Florida. This upmarket development is well located for Disney and Orlando and has lots of on-site facilities and nearby sport and leisure amenities, including a large communal swimming pool and a fishing lake. All that, yet the one-bedroom condominium is on the market for only $115,000 (£62,500).

For those still wondering whether the time is right to jump into the turbulent waters of the Florida property market, it should be said that there are signs of change. Orlando's residential resale market recorded its second-best sales month of the year in July, and local realtors are saying an improvement in the number of pending contracts bodes well for the rest of 2008.

Prices of property in Kissimmee are a touch higher, but in a very attractive area another large single family home on the market with the British Homes Group - and boasting four bedrooms, a luxury kitchen, swimming pool and large garage - could be yours for just $175,000 (£95,000). On the face of it, this is out of our price range; but let's not forget that this is a buyer's market and you should arrive ready to negotiate hard.

For confirmation that the Florida property market is truly being cut down to size, we move south down the coast, to Delray Beach, situated between the seriously upmarket resorts of West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Here, an attractive two-bedroom apartment with vaulted ceilings is currently on the market, offering numerous facilities on the doorstep, such as a pool, gym, spa, clubhouse and tennis courts. Downtown Delray and the beach are a mere ten minutes' drive away and the property is on the market for $145,000 (£78,800).

Of course, if you're looking for something a little more luxurious for your £80,000, you might want to consider vacation ownership (yes, it's timeshare, but that's not a dirty word in the States).
The high-end Starwood Hotels and Resorts has a Vacation Ownership arm that owns Sheraton Vistana Villages, a luxury resort with some 1,500 one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. The development boasts three pools plus a children's pool, tennis courts, poolside restaurant, staffed recreation centre, two fitness centres and lavish tropical landscaping throughout, and buyers automatically gain access to Starwood's international Vacation Network. Annual weeks at Vistana Villages can be purchased from around $10,000 (£5,450).

Those selling Florida property will always say now is the right time to buy. However, there does seem to be a groundswell of opinion pointing in the direction of at least a bottoming out of property prices by the end of the year. One thing's for sure, if you love Florida and you can afford to throw £80,000 at a Florida property, you've just about run out of reasons not to buy.

George Washington's Prophetic Vision

A dispirited George Washington at Valley Forge in the Winter of 1777, had been praying on a frequent basis. Apparently great men are intimate with humility. Sitting at his desk, he was about to write a dispatch. An angel appears, saying no more than "Son of the Republic, look and learn."

You can look up the details for yourself. In a nutshell the vision foretold the present revolution about which Washington had been praying and its positive outcome. Another crisis was to arise in the end of a century. It portrayed the American Civil War and its conclusion.

The final crisis depicted a great invasion of hordes from Africa and Asia and my recollection of a map Washington drew included the Middle East. This crisis was the worst of the three, with our cities and towns burned, our ranks broken and defeat at hand, when an invasion of angels join the battle, inspire the nearly defeated troops and drive out the invaders.

The bible sets forth a prophetic principle. If the prophecy is fulfilled as described, it is of God. Washington's vision shines a great light upon current events. 1.) The invading hordes are allied or united in their invasion. 2.) The map I recall showed their invasion of both coasts and the southern border. You know, the one with the great virtual fence. 3.) The biblical promise in the Book of Revelation the great planetary destruction to come would be by fire.

What is the cause of global warming? And where do those greenhouse gasses come from? And what propels all modern weapons of war? And what results from the use of the most powerful destructive weapons of war? What is the frequent result of drought? Think Western state Summers the past five years. In this prophetic vision, current events fall into place like pieces of a puzzle.

First, someone or something must unite the (foreign) enemies of America into an alliance. America's domestic enemies in national government have been working on this since the end of WW II. Some sixty years later we can see the invasion alliances taking shape. The unification of global Islam. The Chinese and Russian alliances with Iran. The White House and Israeli determination to cement this alliance and a rubber stamp Congress to make it all legal and official. Let's hear it for voting for change!

Global warming: The alarms are coming with increasing frequency. If drastic action is not taken quickly, the impending droughts will decimate world populations. The Book of Revelation forecasts a two thirds reduction in world population. Does this avert the climactic conditions or result from them? Will the surviving two billion of us, multiply or dwindle?

Believe it or not. There is yet time to read the writing on the wall. It is totally up to you how you spend that time. You can ignore the writing and carry on with your day to day as if nothing will change anytime soon. You can stand on the tracks to slow the runaway train of global destruction. You can wave your arms in protest and write your government representatives. You can plan to survive and stay away from the train. You can plan to be comfortable when the lights go out. Our judgment is at hand. A most fitting end to the Age of Man. Believe it or not.

Polls Show Obama Ahead on Electoral Votes

Each time the polls drop in popularity of Barrack Obama we find the bloggers and media does a story on the strength of the polls for the Obama campaign. All I can think of is wow, Barrack Obama has sure lost some of his dominance. I had not expected his media-made "rock-star" popularity to have declined so feverishly. But the Democrats are having that big shin-dig in Denver, so that might help his image some more if he delivers another well orchestrated and well written speech from his handlers.

Indeed, I find the pre-celebration of President Obama, quite telling of the current entitled generation, who will not wait for the process to complete. Political races are not set in stone this early on. But congratulations to your candidate and your hard work to prop-up his name through your blogging online.

Are you really concerned about the polls of a certain mass-media-made "celebrity" candidate, or are you concerned about the future and well being of our nation? Those who favor Obama say that the Republican Brand is diminished. Okay, that's a fair assessment, I agree that the media has severely hurt the Republican Brand, and as more and more of our citizenry surrender their minds to the TV set, we can expect a decline in popularity of the party.

However, every once in a while a "black swan" event comes along and wakes everyone up again to the reality of human civilizations and returns things to reality. That's my take on it through my study of human history. "We do live in interesting times" and yes, that's a good thing.

Visit Orlando Florida

When Should We Go?

Orlando Florida reaches into millions of visitors each year, making it one of the most popular destinations in the world for family's. I found that there are thousands of articles online that you can spend hours and hours reading on when to go, where to visit, where to stay, and the truth is, is that it's not rocket science even for first time visitors.

If you enjoy the hot weather then go in the summer, and yes this is one of the busiest and hottest times of the year and you will queue for the attractions.

Disney World at Christmas and new year is another busy period along with Easter break when millions of visitors flock to see the festivals and other great attractions on offer, but this is what it's all about. It's that magical atmosphere that Disney World and other attractions create that we go for.

If for some reason you don't like the heat, the queues and the atmosphere then I would recommend going in the not to busy periods, like September or January. These are the periods where you won't get that tan, you won't get the queues and you certainly won't get that magical atmosphere.

Visiting Orlando Florida in the not to busy periods does have its up's and downside's to it. For instance villa rentals or hotels, its probably half the price, or they will have some kind of special deal on, but this is because they need to fill the rooms or rentals they have available. The only up side we see is that there are no queues in the park, however they do shut earlier than in the busy months.

Having being a rental owner myself for the past 5-6 years and visiting Orlando Florida for the past 10 years i can honestly say whether your visiting for the first time or not, don't be let down by the parks shutting early, the weather and the emptiness of Disney World spoil your vacation. As i mentioned earlier it's that magical atmosphere that we ALL go for.

Where Should We Stay? Where Should We Visit?

Now here's another story in which I will try and save you hours of reading, many articles online will have you sit there and read through a full page or more on where to visit, and where to stay in Orlando Florida. Now most people who visit Orlando Florida are visiting for one thing and one thing only "Disney World".

So where should you stay? if you are visiting for Disney World and the other attractions like Sea World, Universal Studios, Blizzard beach, as long as you stay either around the 192 area including highway 27 (the 192 is a main road area surrounded by villa rentals and Disney attractions) or international drive. You will never be more than a short drive away from the main attractions. Hotel or villa, this is your preference. However I will tell you that staying in a hotel is a lot more expensive than renting a vacation home for your family.

So where to visit? There are plenty of places to visit, so much that you would have to return again to see some more. Attractions like Sea World, Universal Studios, Blizzard Beach, Magic Kingdom, Pleasure Island, Busch Gardens and lots more, and for you who like relaxing on beaches the famous cocoa beach is on an hour away.

Verdict:

When Should We Go? Go for the atmosphere, it's hot and it's busy but it's well worth it.

Where Should We Stay? Hotel or villa in the area's mentioned. Remember that renting a villa is a lot more cost effective,

Where Should We Visit? You will probably have to return to see everything. Our favourites include Sea World and Universal, but there are plenty more.

Queensland offers a variety of beautiful locations to visit. So the next time you are taking a holiday, make sure to take a few day trips around the area. The sun, sea and golden sands of this part of the world will welcome you, with open arms and a warm heart! When you hire a car in Brisbane, the CBD is only 75 km from Southport, giving you the perfect opportunity to drive to one of the most beautiful places in Queensland.

Southport is at the north end of the Gold Coast known for its beautiful sandy beach and amazing marina. Also known for its history, it is even said to be visited by Captain Cook before it was settled. Now you can frolic in the water at Main Beach and imagine what it would have been like back in the 1700's. Laze on the soft sands of the beach, while the sun works on your tan!

Also notable is what is known as "The Spit" which is the narrow promontory that leads to some of the best resorts in the area. Here is where you will find Philip Park, one of the most beautiful parklands in the area. This area is extremely popular with tourists, especially the nature enthusiasts. Another popular attraction is Sea World, a very large marine park that offers entertainment in the form of rides, attractions, and shows for the entire family. Quite often, parents bring their children here to allow them hours of fun, while they discover the kids within themselves!

Families love this area because of the calm water known as Broadwater where they can go kayaking, fishing, swimming or enjoy a picnic lunch. If you are staying at one of the fancy apartment hotels, you could cook and pack our own picnic. Or else, you can get in touch with the concierge of your hotel or resort, and they will ensure that you have a wonderful lunch ready for your day in the sun!

Of course, you cannot go to Southport without taking part in the amazing outlet shopping at Harbourtown. Even with such natural forestry and parklands, it just fits right in. You will be surprised to find most of your favourite brands here, along with exclusive designer wear. So the next time you visit the big city, make sure to get a car hire Brisbane and take in the sights in beautiful Southport Queensland.
