Is there hope for the Republicans?

Obama's poll numbers are down, and even his most loyal supporters are worried. Is it time for the Republicans get excited about a comeback? I do not think so.

2010 is a big election year. The main choice is only in the fall, but I'm already discouraged. In my state, Illinois, the only primaries were held. Obama has given us for the White House, so that we get to choose a new senator. As a conservative, I thought this could be the door for a couple of new Republican blood to open. Republicans chose aGuy by landslides, which were in the U.S. House of Representatives for 5 terms. He voted for every budget crappy during that time and should be held accountable for the sorry state of our country. My own congressman, since Clinton was in office, and she won the primary re-adopted. I am so committed to the voices of professional politicians, that can mean only one choice in the fall of the Liberal Democrats.

There is only one way the Republicans can once again familiar. Any Republican that sinceto be voted in office for more than a single term. New people need to take Office to tear down and start a business as usual "in politics.

Republicans since Reagan have become progressively into their worldview. Bush ran as a "compassionate conservative". I liked the sound when I first heard, but did not understand that the continuing belief that the Federal Government is the best answer to social problems carried out. This idea is firmly rejected by incomingCandidates.

If a national candidate wants to win the voters, as I understand these are:

Get the government out of local affairs. To return to a constitutional style of governance. Leave the social programs and legislation relating to drugs, abortion, gay rights, etc. in the states. Washington must take time to spend on national security, immigration, global trade, and industry regulation. The federal government only has to note with concern that issueswill affect all Americans. Stay away from bridges in Alaska.
Take a conservative approach to the economy. This means to let the free market enchant without massive government interference. The companies will fail, regardless of their size. It also means lower taxes and less government spending.
We need national leadership and inspiration to public officials to concentrate. These are the people that this country great, not make law. Nancy Pelosi is not a good leader. She does not knowI encourage her to join in addressing global problems. Leadership in Washington is by forgetting you receive my defined principles and the opposition passed a law. That's not very motivating for me.

I want to be excited about voting, but it seems no one shares these simple values. Republicans and Democrats go to the status quo and we will continue to finance their quiet casinos. Washington will remain broken.
