Dolphin Bar at Jensen Beach, South Florida, where Ambiance Is King

My favorite restaurant was crowded yesterday at lunch. We could not find a table on the deck. If we find a table on the deck with full ocean view, we can see pelicans and seagulls landing on the dock and watch the fish swim if you are looking from the sides of the decks.

I love the deck, but the interior is grandiose, even with some sea views, rock walls, a fireplace (not that it's required), and a high cathedral ceiling in the large dining room where the fireplaceis.

Although it is now in the winter for most of the land, this South Florida with 79 degrees in January with a sweet breeze from the Atlantic and the Dolphin Bar in Jensen Beach is located directly beside the sea. My first favorite restaurant in St. Lucie Rottie be used prior to Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne, it demolished.

Luckily for the residents, Dolphin Bar recovered very quickly after the hurricanes, and opened its doors in a few months. Most every restaurant on the water isspoiled and used less-than-delicious meals, but not Dolphin Bar, I never ate there, something that I did not like.

Their salad bar is great, though, when I go to a restaurant, I like it served. You should have the right to act in a lazy, pleasant atmosphere.

A side salad, but comes with most of the main dishes, and it is the choice of greens and julienned carrots, radishes, red onions, lettuce and other tasty material. Your Thousand Iceland dressing is my favorite, andThe freshly baked bread and warm.

They are also the best kind of wine when you order. Even the house wine is very pleasant. In my case, since wines fetch dislike me, my drink is usually the lemonade or iced tea or coffee.

The appetizers and main courses, any customer with great variety and charm careful, artistic preparation. Fresh fish is the best, really fresh. The Oriental Tuna is a favorite of mine. Most other customers are ready, in many shrimpdifferent ways.

Yesterday I had a dolphin sandwich. Dolphin is a different kind of fish, erroneously called, and not the cute kind of dolphin, jumps up and does tricks at Sea World.

Last week I had the oriental tuna, the sight of another customer, ask the waiter: "I want what it is about this lady to have."

My husband swears by their prime rib, but everything tastes on the menu. Although the menu is to be the Bahamas, the place, like a large safeSeries of appetite.

The portions are not small, but they are not so crowded that they will gag directed the two companies. I like to eat it every bite, but I ended up wrapped up in half the main course for later to save room for desert.

You have to die a chocolate cake, tiramisu and makes me that little cholesterol problem, I've forgotten. What is so impressive to me is the feeling of the restaurant. The bar is filled with friendly people arrive and customers with the car or boat, since the restaurant has a 200 meter long bridge.

The dress is not formal, given the high quality of food. This makes the city more attractive. Classy but casual would describe it best. The owners are down to earth people who live in small huts on the site, while the restaurant a failed past.

The place was formerly the Outrigger Resort, owned from 1940 singer and actress Frances Langford and her husband, Ralph Evinrude. Indoors, the walls in the foyerLook at the photos of celebrities like Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Ginger Rogers, Jackie Gleason, and Richard Nixon.

The prices are not at all expensive, given the quality, although some critics of the Dolphin Square area restaurant-bar as expensive. For me, expensive if you do not get your money worth and feeling sick at the end of the stomach.

Then is the best yet to come. Outside the restaurant area on the side of the building, a boutique shop offers manySpecies of tropical Bric-a-brac, some fine wines, clothing, jewelry and other interesting things. Inside the hall, a young beautiful, graceful lady helps the customer.

Even though I hate shopping, I drove the shop yesterday, because of the music. The young lady with the magic smile told me she used to play CDs, and this was of Armik, the flamenco guitarist and composer. No wonder I was drawn there, because I also have several Armik CDs.

Well, if someone isdissatisfied with the Dolphin Bar, it is likely because a fancy French meal with waiters dressed in Tuxes expect. Dolphin Bar is not that, thank God. It is the scenery, atmosphere, friendliness and good food. I'm glad that we have a restaurant, a short distance does not leave us with all the other beach-front restaurants in the area for reconstruction after the hurricanes, or sell out to apartment complexes.
