In an appropriate manner on the beautiful coast of San Diego, Sea World successfully blends the fun and excitement of a theme park with the educational aspects of an aquarium.
Sea World has three rides, a children's play area, numerous aquarium-style exhibitions and a variety of live entertainment / shows. The aquarium areas are beautifully made, explain signs, see interesting details about life in the sea. The hands-on touch pools have staffavailable to answer questions and provide information on the types of sealife at the touch pool. In the Ray Touch Pool (so-called Forbidden Reef), buy some fish, feed the rays. You can do the same at Rocky Point Preserve to feed the dolphins. Pet the colorful starfish at the tide pool.
There are three trips in the price of admission (there are two additional trips are available for a fee - Bayside Skyride and Skytower Ride). Shipwreck Rapids is a raft and ride Journey to Atlantis a log-style water ride rollercoaster. You are almost certain to get wet! The Wild Arctic is a helicopter-driving simulator, which you have a beautiful landscape takes Artic (but watch out for the winter storm blows in. .. there will be many stumbling blocks paved!).
To really experience what Sea World has to offer to take the time to go to the shows. Pets Products has a variety of non-marine animals, some of them were rescued from shelters. There are shows at the Dolphin Stadium,(Sealion and Otter Stadium and Shamu Stadium when the park is open at night, you will have the opportunity to see various shows in these stages, I recommend) the Shamu Rocks show.
As with other theme parks, there are many opportunities to buy snacks and souvenirs throughout the park. There are also sit-down restaurants. We found them to be priced in line with other similar parks, not cheap, but not as expensive as Disney Parks. The children were delighted to find a variety ofSouvenirs in their price range. Overall, I thought the souvenir prices were very reasonable. If your kids love Build-a-Bear or the like, should you stop at Wild Creations, you have your own stuffed Shamu and dolphin. Other things to do while playing at Sea World: the new Sesame Street Bay of Play and visit the Clydesdales.
We found the staff friendly and informative. It seemed to many people around to answer questions. Although large, the park alsosignposted so it is quite easy to navigate. Be sure to grab a parking card, such as giving you the opportunity, it is a big help. There are restrooms conveniently located, family, including several toilets. The only negative we found the length of the trip lines and the parking lot. Since there are only 3 included rides, the lines usually quite long. Try to ride the rides, while others are on shows. The lines were a bit shorter than. If you signed up to the park, you expect to stayhave a long wait to get from the parking lot. We found the people rude and aggressive as we tried to exit. The parking lot was not well marked to facilitate easy escape of the large number of vehicles.
Although not included in the general admission fee, I recommend to reserve a place to dine with Shamu. Although the price seems overwhelming at first glance, we found that this is the highlight of our trip Sea World. Breakfast with Shamu a bitcheaper and an amazing way to start your day at Sea World. We sat pool where we could see how perfectly the trainers interact with "Shamu". At the same time, we got a very tasty breakfast. Well worth the price!
As if a great day with your family is not enough to feel good, here's an interesting tidbit of information, so you better manage the money on admission to the park. Sea World is spent in participatingRescue and recovery of injured and endangered marine life. Most of them contribute to marine life has finally returned to its natural habitat, while a few sea animals remain in the park (s) on the basis of necessity.
