Sometimes it can be fairly easy and simple to get cheap travel deals but this is not always the case. If you've been finding it hard or very difficult to travel cheap then the following ideas might be just what you need. But most of these ideas are for people who really want cheap travel no matter what and who are interested in something different and a little adventure as well.

- If you like to write about your travels contact publications and pitch them a travel story/article idea. But it has to be something extremely unique and interesting in the rare cases where a publication does allow freelance writers to pitch an idea. In some rare cases publications will pay the expenses of the writer to travel and write the story but these are extremely rare.
